We are currently seeking a Fleet Scheduler experienced in containers to lead a team of Professional Truck Drivers on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will suit a transport professional with a high degree of initiative and the ability to exceed our customers’ expectations.

About the role:

  • Using the 1stop system to manage container bookings
  • Scheduling a fleet of trucks and professional drivers
  • Managing client booking times
  • Customer relationship management
  • Ensuring the safety of staff and customers
  • Assisting the wider Operations team
  • Assisting the drivers with maintaining all licences/qualifications/inductions and VOC’s
  • Ability to work both within a team and autonomously when required
  • Administration – data entry

About you:

  • MUST have an understanding and experience with container tracking and use of EDO’s
  • Ability to multitask is essential
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Outstanding attitude & customer focus
  • Experience with Translogix & MT Data operating systems is highly desirable
  • A comprehensive understanding of load restraint principles, fatigue management guidelines and COR legislation
  • The ability to communicate effectively with drivers, management and our customers
